Fantastic Friday

We use our fantastic Fridays for different things: arts and unit of inquiry.
This week, the children painted and did weaving. They loved it!

Learning about clothes' labels... (unit of inquiry)

Learning about clothes, materials they are made in and the their labels. Here, the children are looking at the labels in their jackets and hats. They now know about all the washing tips and the right materials.

Book Circle

Book circle: we've tried something fun, the other day. Reading several books in 4 minutes. After, they had to swap books and start reading another one. The children were so committed and read nearly all the books within that given time.

Book Buddies

Book Buddies: MYP and our kigas. Aren't they cute, together? We do it, every second week. The children always miss their book buddies and it's always nice to have them.

Games on clothes...

We also play lots of games: dressing up races and pass the words. It is so much fun. A lot of laughter, as you can see...

Maths: Measurement

In Maths, we are learning about measurement: length and height.

"Clothes" in the morning

The children start the day with morning activities like: dress up the dolls, drawing with stencils and matching clothes according to the seasons.

Unit of inquiry: Clothes!

We try to include the subjects in our unit if inquiry. This time, the children wrote Clothes Riddles. It goes like this: "M. is wearing this. It is green and warm. What is it?" Everybody read theirs while the others had to guess. They like presenting their work to each other.
